Token Management

This module provides a token system which is very efficient in managing a queue in various places such as Hospitals, Hotels, Doctor's practice, Delivery counters etc. Any users can get their token number just by a click or touch on the button on the screen by themselves.

In this Token ManagementModule, there are two sub-menus namely,

  1. Get Token and

  2. Configuration.

Only the administrator has full authority over this module, hence the menu, configuration will not be accessible to the users.

When the user click on the Get Token menu, the following page will get appeared.

Here, we set the initial token number as 1, ie the first token number and user can get this token number by clicking the ‘Get Token’ button. After clicking the button, the following ‘print’ window will get loaded and automatically increment the token number as 2.

The user can take print out of his token number with additional informations such as current date and time. The next user will get the next token number 2 and so on.

When administrator click on the configuration menu, the following page will get appeared. In this page, administrator can set the token number by himself. For this, we provide an input text box for setting the token number.

If the administrator gives any invalid data (like null character, decimal numbers, alphabetic characters etc) as input, the system will generate an error message as follows:

In the above figure, administrator has given 50 as the token number and it will set as the current token number when he click on the ‘update token’ button. Now administrator has set the token number as 50. If it set successfully then the following alert message will get appeared.

Now the user will get the current token number as 50 and he can take print out of it.

After the click on ‘Get Token’ button, the following print window will get appeared. It prints the current token number as 50 and also increment the token number as 51.
