CoirERP

CoirERP has been developed to provide an ERP solution, focusing on coir based societies and organisations, to automate there complete work process like Sales, Purchase, Production, Human resource, Payroll etc. in order to improve there total work effectiveness. This solution is developed as modules in OpenERP and would be provided on a SAAS based model on a monthly subscription basis thus allowing the customers to have an ERP solution of there own at very affordable price.

The software as a service (SAAS) model is a way of providing the same software to different customers via a network, usually through Internet. The software is not hosted on the customers' individual computers. Under the SaaS model, the provider of this service is responsible for the creation, updating, and maintenance of software. Here the customers do not have to pay any huge upfront cost for the software and they are free to subscribe or unsubscribe as per their requirement. Saas model can add efficiency and cost savings for the both the Service provider and customer. Customers save time and money since they do not have to install and maintain programs.

     a) OpenERP web client uses https, protocol for transmitting data securely over the World Wide Web.

     b) OpenERP with vpn, eliminates any outsiders from accessing the system.

     c) Base_crypt module allows to store user name and password in encrypted manner.

     d) Robot.txt file at the root of the web client folder not allows google to index our login screen.
